Defining Moments Press offers four author packages. They are listed here from least to most done for you, and each is described on the same criteria: who writes, coaching, course, production, launch, and listed price. This guide is published by Defining Moments Press about its own services.
Which book coaching package should I choose?
Choose Author Training if you want to write the book yourself with a coach for a full year. Choose Author Blueprint if you are self-directed and want the lowest listed price. Choose Author Launch if your manuscript is finished. Choose Author Premium if you want ghostwriters to write it. Professionals with a nonfiction story usually start by asking about Author Training on the discovery call.

The packages, in order of how much is done for you
- Author Blueprint (do it yourself). Listed first because it involves the least hands-on help: you follow an 8 week course with templates, tools, and unlimited email support. It is also the only package with a published price. Best for: self-directed writers who mainly need a proven process.
- Author Launch (done for you). Second because the writing is already done by you; the team handles formatting, book and cover design, marketing, and the launch. Best for: authors with a finished manuscript who need publishing and launch.
- Author Training (done with you). Third because it adds the most guidance while you still write: book coaching for 1 year, the 8 week course, ongoing training, design, marketing, and a full launch. Best for: professionals who want to write it themselves with a coach beside them.
- Author Premium (done for you). Last because it is the most done for you: ghostwriters write your book, and the team adds design, a full launch, media appearances, and a launch funnel. Best for: experts with knowledge to share but no time to write.

What is the difference between done for you and done with you?
Done with you means you write the book with guidance; done for you means the provider does the work. At Defining Moments Press, Author Training is done with you and includes a year of coaching. Author Premium is done for you, with ghostwriters. Author Launch is done for you after you have already written the book.
